This website is run by the Police National Legal Database (PNLD), we want as many people as possible to be able to use this website. For example, that means you should be able to:

PDFs and other documents

Some of our PDFs are essential to providing our services. For example, we publish PDFs that contain legal information. All of our current PDFs are compliant, and any new PDFs, Word or Excel documents we publish meet accessibility standards. This approach aligns with the model accessibility statement guidance.

The accessibility regulations do not require us to fix PDFs or other documents published before 23 September 2018, provided they are not essential to providing our services

This statement was prepared on 4 May 2022. It was last reviewed on 16 February 2026 by PNLD's Digital Delivery Officer.

This website was last tested on 21 October 2025 and was carried out by the Cabinet Office.

Once the identified issues have been resolved, our IT partner will conduct a further review to confirm that the improvements meet accessibility standards.
